Relax and enjoy life
58-year-old man I am a
recovering nerd. I started programming before there was
"computer science". I have grown out of a lot of it, but still
appreciate science and good science fiction. I like intelligent
conversation, wine tasting, movies, NPR, PBS, family, and, yes,
fooling around with the computer. I also enjoy working around
the house and garden, including remodelling the kitchen myself a
while back. I am looking to meet new people and grow my network
of friends. I have no pre-conceived notions.
for fun: Nice
restaurants, movies, wine tasting, DVD's at home, crosswords,
and sincere talks. I enjoy being with those I care about.

my religion: God is us.
I believe in humanity, not some supernatural being we make up to
hide behind and have an excuse not to think. People should not
be fooled into believing "the next life" is going to be better.

Water birding, dog-deprived
condo dweller seeks humorous guy
58-year-old woman Dog lover
without pets, conventional religion, kids, or marriages – wasn’t
paying attention during mating season. No baggage but lots of
luggage from 20 years living/working in international public
health. Non-fluent in a number of obscure languages, and
learning one more a bit more useful - Spanish! I break for birds
but right-wingers are not my flock. I fly fish from that very
far left bank. Claims to fame - never been seasick and have a
fabulous loon call.

weather: Playing outside biking, rollerblading, birding, or in
the water kayaking, sailing or swimming. Bad weather: Reading a
good book by a fire.
