Those
early arrivers will be treated to a lazy afternoon and evening of
swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and marinating in our hot tub at
our lovely new home on Pine Lake.
Dinner will be a casual barbeque with choices of steak (beef or
Portobello), chicken, or salmon.
The address is 2942 222nd PL SE, Sammamish 98075. To get there
from Seattle, take I-90 east to Front Street, the 2nd exit in Issaquah.
Turn left and drive 2 miles on East Lake Sammamish Parkway to 43rd.
Turn right and travel uphill to first signal. Turn left on Pine
Lake Road, which quickly becomes 222nd PL. The driveway is on the right
just after a bike lane sign.
This
is your chance travel by boat on Puget Sound through the Straits of Juan
de Fuca, see the islands and the glorious Olympic Mountains, whales if
we are lucky, get a guided historical tour of Victoria and spend two
hours in their famous Butchart Gardens all in one day. Not to be missed!
The Victoria Clipper Departs Pier 69 on the Seattle Waterfront at 8:30am
(check in 7:30) returning around 8pm. It costs $158/per person;
discounted if more than 15 people book. See their

See the jewel of the Northwest. It is a truly awesome
sight to see our grand dame of a mountain. We’ll hire a bus or minivan
and transport you into the park where you can either sip wine and have a
picnic at the lodge, take a leisurely stroll or be a gun ho vigorous
hiker. Either way, you must
not miss this alpine experience.
This
4 hour adventure starts from Pier 55 at 4:30 pm from the Seattle waterfront for a
magical crossing over Puget Sound to Blake Island. There we will have a
traditional Salmon bake, watch native dancers and have time to explore
the island. Everyone we know raves about the trip. We ourselves have yet
to do it. So this is a great excuse! We’ve reserved 30 spaces at

Sea Kayaking Puget Sound

Paddle around Puget Sound on Elliot Bay with views of the Seattle skyline, Mt Rainer, the Olympic Peninsula and the Cascades. We’ve got boats for up to 30 people for a half day paddle (4 hours) around Helen’s front yard paddling grounds. Check out the barking sea lions that hang out on the barge buoys, our resident Bald Eagles, and a very dynamic harbor.
